Cold laser, otherwise known as low level laser, uses low levels of power. Unlike high power lasers, cold lasers do not heat or destroy the tissues. Low energy lasers stimulate the cellular processes of the underlying tissue.
It emits a visible red light from a low power laser. The laser is held against the skin over the area needing treatment.
